Timbuktu Studios adopts its name from one of the foremost centers of learning on the African continent, and now we are bringing a little bit of Timbuktu to the Santa Clarita Valley. Timbuktu Studios is the brainchild of Dave Weathers the first-of-its-kind learning center, developed to provide education in the field of photography and digital imaging. From basic use of your digital cameras to Photoshop or making the transition from amateur to professional photographer status, Timbuktu is your educational center.
Timbuktu Studios is a digital creative clubhouse; 1,500 square feet of the 2,600 is a fully equipped professional photography studio. Take a trip upstairs to the hands on educational center where classes will be taught for students of all ages and levels. The teaching area boasts 10 Imacs and an abundant supply of Epson printers and a comfy couch with books for researching or just “hanging out".
Timbuktu Studios demystifies digital photography, as well as educates people on how to protect their digital memories.
